The AINP is authorized by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) to issue a maximum of 5,500 nomination certificates for the 2015 calendar year.

The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) has issued all 5,500 certificates for 2015. The AINP will continue to assess applications in the queue; however, no further certificates will be issued until January 2016.

As of December 14, 2015, the AINP

has approximately 5,400 applications that need to be assessed to determine if the application is eligible for a nomination

Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding paying rate for particular position. I have applied AINP under SRS Engineering category as a electrical/electronics engineering technician (NOC 2241)in June 2015. I have submitted my pay stubs too. My salary is $18/hr, 40 hr per week. I assume this salary is low for my position but the company I work for is good (which I think doesn't really matter). Company provides me a vehicle, phone and laptop ( again I think, this doesn't really matter).
I don't know how much my salary should be. Do anybody know how does salary affect the application process?
Is anyone here with the similar situation waiting for AINP or anyone who already got the AINP?

If they asked you pay stubs, then it's a very good sign. Be patient, your nomination may on the way to you.

They issued my nomination Dec 3rd, and I just received it today. If you don't received it more then two weeks, just call or email them back.

Also, SRS Engineering category doesn't require your wages and benefits meet the industry standards(ALIS) like the EDS stream.

So you should be fine with your salary.
