As long as you are under implied status, meaning you can still legally work for the company, then it should be OK. It's if the new work permit doesn't come that there's chances your application might be rejected.

Applied Jan 7th, AOR 17th Jan n File No. 22nd March & work permit is going to EXPIRE in Exactly 3 months from now, 24th Oct :'( :'( :'(
