No not yet, I called them again to check if my file is assigned to an office, they said another 2 weeks.
I am losing hope
Its so heart breaking, its been 24 months.

Exactly man I am losing hope too . I called them and they told me they received lot of file on September 15 so it will takes them 1 more month to clear those file I hope that ain't true and will get it before the next update .
When did you call them ? And what exactly they told you ?

They mentioned that, My file is still not assigned any office and she said, probably it will take 2 more weeks, but I am not sure, That's what her answer was.

My spouse got a email from AINP officer request for information.
one of question is

•Do you have any applications in process with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), formerly Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)?

i.e. work permit application, application for permanent residence, Express Entry application.


•If yes, please provide documentation from IRCC confirming this, including a file number and date of application, and also, if applicable, the decision letter from IRCC.
•If you have submitted an Application for Permanent Residence to IRCC, please state if you would like to continue with your AINP application.

So, spouse attached my AOR (EE) file.


My spouse applied AINP with me.
I applied EE-CEC-Inland with spouse.

Extending work pwemit has nothing to do with leave, it depends on the type of work permit..if it is PGWP you can not extend it , if it is closed then your employer has to apply for LMIA..but I guess you will receive Ainp before 2017.

AINp received my file on April 8th 2015. I applied under EDS international Graduate category. Noc code 2242.

my work permit Expired on 26th of June 2017.

So, Is there any possibility I can get my AINP before my work permit Expire ? or
should I look for other option ?

definitely you have a good chance that you will get it before your wp expires. i applied in feb 2015 and my wp expires in october 2016. i have already applied for my new wp but there is a chance that i get it before my wp expires because they also consider your expiration date too. however processing time for eds is 24-26 months so they will not take more than that.

Nomination Issued: August 23rd,2016.

I saw the Ainp-SRS PGW Category normally get nomination quite fast around 3 to 4 months. How long after you get the job to apply the Ainp-SRS PGW Category program?

Only you wait until you get your first pay stub and then you apply.
