Hi all. I am new to this forum. Just joined in a few days ago. It is indeed an interesting and very helpful one. I wish everybody best of luck and lots hope.

I got my AINP nomination yesterday. Details are

Category applied: EDS - PGWP

Applied on: 29 September 2014

File No. received: 22 October 2014
Did Ainp call you for some verification for your application?or you just received your nomination?anyway congrats you are so lucky

NOC: 6312

AINP Nomination: 12 March 2015

WP expire: December 2015

Are people going to get nomination whô are waiting for more than 15-16 months???
They processing ppl who applied in late 2014 and so randomly it looks like ppl who havent received nomination yet are from regular NOCs and they seems to be not intrested in processsing them and not saying it either tht not going to process their applications ..
I havent seen any EDS-IGC nomination in so long of course unless u r in hotel industry..i guess its more clear now tht we wont get nomination it doent matter how long we wait 17 months or 25 months..

The most ridiculous part of it is that they don't tell us anything. Do you guys remember the update some time back in march? What happened to it?

One friend applied last month..got file number in 2 weeks..she applied right after tht march update so i guess it is same old system...

I don't think its the old system. They definitely have their own approach but they don't wanna tell us.

ya for processing files of course their approach changes everyday i guess. but when i said old system i meant to say the way they still accept files is still same..
this is just bizarre...so many people waiting for nomination not knowing they wont get anything in the end after waiting almost 2 years....

Does any one heard about this news that people who getting nomination from AINP not able to get workpermit extension. Because one of my friend applied twice and result is same. REFUSED REFUSED. Even not only my friend is a victim, there is 5-6 people got the same result. I don't know what happen with Alberta and federal goverment. ???

I didn't read this news.....My friend personally told me. He is in edmonton and got his nomination last year in december. His workpermit is valid so he didn't applied workpermit after his nomination but now he applied for extension after 3 months and he got refused. I am not sure if this is only happened with my friend. May be someone have the idea regaring this matter.

did he apply for open WP wiht AOR or closed WP??
did he apply with new IMM5802 form and his employer paid fee for it??
they changed closed WP requirement on feb 21..

Wow that's weird. I got my nomination in October and applied for a work permit in January. Didn't get refused. I used only my nomination.
