Quitting the job as my PR in progress.

Hello,

I have an open work permit(post graduate), worked supervisory position 1.5 year.
In this June, I got my AOR. I applied for CEC based on work experience from my current job.

However, I am considering to leave my job next year January or even before that.
Is it going to affect my pr progression?

Not at all.. CEC is based on your past Canadian Experience ..

It shouldn't affect you, I left my job after applying and I got PR fine.

I suppose the only problem might be if you left your work and they didn't like it, then CIC contacting them for more info & them refusing.

But your work would have to be assholes to do that.

I didn't. Your CEC application is based on the 3 years prior to the date on your forms.

I did send them my updated mailing address as I had moved city.
