My wife is still on her in-home work visa and we are just starting to apply for her PR and OWP . I am curious if she is allowed to quit her job so she can live with me full time or do we need to wait for approval of the PR and OWP. She came here on the visa a year and a half ago and we were married end of june.

Since you can't actually apply inland until you are living together, she would have no option but to quit and move in with you before applying. If she isn't going to do that, you need to apply outland.

Ok so I just want to be clear on this. She came here on a 2 year work visa, we met after she was here and now recently married. We just want to be sure its ok if she quits her contract so we can live together as her nanny job is a live-in. So we need to live together to apply as inland? and her quiting isn't going to cause any problems with immigration.

Yes, you need to live together to apply inland. That is very clearly stated on the app.

No, it won't be a problem if she quits.
