There is a mention that we need to take along 2 copies of list of items we are carrying to Canada. I just have clothes, shoes, laptop, nothing except those. Do i need to make a list of all these things? Please suggest. Thank you in advance.

:D Hi, no need to make any list.

You may get an 'embarkation form' in your airplane before landing. Fill up that form which will have to show about total cost of items you are importing. Just show approx amount for any new items if you carry. Otherwise show an amount around CAD 100/= for the whole items what do you have. The customs officer may ask you at the counter whether you imported any liquor, cigarettes or any other costly items . If you don't have such items ( If you buy liquor from duty free you have to declare )Otherwise you may tell that you have only your personal items and dress. That is all.It is not a serious problem to think about. Take it easy and do a happy landing.

Welcome to Canada!!.
