Hi all,

First of all thanks for having a look at my post!

I am originally from Singapore and have worked in Canada, N.S. for 2 years in April. I'm currently looking at applying for PR, PNP with support from Company as Skilled Worker.

I did an assessment test on the CIC and got 87 (if I chose high proficiency for language) and 73 (if I chose basic proficiency). That being said, I was wondering if I still needed to take the IELTS?

I can't find information about this anywhere or if there's an exception or if it's mandatory no matter which country you are from?

Thanks for replying in advance! Much appreciated!

Depends on the province you are applying from, some don't need IELTS for PNP. Check what's instructed on the province website.

I think IELTS is required for application ...

ya agree to owlowl2005 IELTS is required

I'm under Manitoba PNP, and IELTS was not required, as well as many other friends in this forum under MPNP..i just don't know if NS requires that

Hello Friends, how are you all? Well this is my first post here.

I already apply for Quebec PR in November 2011 and I got my file number too. I just want to know when will they call me for an Interview or when will I get any updates from them.

I cleared my DELF A1 exam and preparing for DELF A2, I think A1 and A2 are enough for open my file / CSQ interview or Do I need to pass any more French level exam?

I got my 63 points including French Language point.

Awaiting for positive response.

Many thanks,
RBS.

hello fellow singaporean, i think if i am not wrong , if you are from NUS NTU SMU, there is no need to do IELTS, otherwise there will be a need for u to do IELTS. cheers!
