My husband and myself applied for citizenship this May and today I received a letter from them.

For more documents on name change .

Now being an Indian we have fathers name as middle name for example Dev Vinay Mathur. So in the form where it stated to write what name would u want .. We wrote Dev Mathur.

Now they want legal name change document ... :o. How do I give that ... Name is yet Dev Mathur ?

If someone could please help

You should have initially wrote exactly as it appears on the PR card or landing paper (unless it is truncated). Any other, they can ask for a legal name change document. The best thing now you can do is to reply that you are not looking for a name change and mention the correct (existing one) as in your immigration doc/ passport for the rest of processing.
