we finished and ready to send our application but we are confused about application fees i mean spouse application how much money do i have to pay before sendng my application
best regards

the total is $1040, of which you absolutely have to send $550 (75 for sponsorship 475 for application) The $490 for the Right of Permanent Residency Fee can be sent later or when they request it at the end of the process, but it will delay your application by several weeks to a month or so. It is highly recommended to send the whole $1040 from the beginning if you can afford to do so to save you a lot of headaches in the long run!

I know this is a redundant question -- but it's easy enough to pay that $490 right of Permanent Residency DURING the process and email the receipt to the visa office processing your application?

You can do that, but be sure to include your full name, date of birth, client id and (if processing overseas) the immigration file number. There's still a chance they won't match it up, and your file will be delayed while they request confirmation of payment.

okay thanks for the response -- I'll take the risk! :)

Hah, sounds like you're a little overwhelmed by the cost. I'm the same way. That's almost a month's salary for me. I'm going to pay it all at once, though. I'll use my credit card, mail in the receipt, and make payments to the bank, as I can. $1040 is a huge amount to cough up. ::)

thanks guys
