I have a question regarding bringing my car from US to Canada. Here is my situation:
I landed in Canada last June as a permanent resident, stayed in Canada for a short period of time and then returned back to US to finish my contract with my current US employer. Now I am going to permanently relocate to Canada this July. However, I forgot to fill in the B-4 or the goods to follow list when I first landed last year, but at that time the border officer said I could fill in a goods to follow list the next time when I did relocate permanently to Canada since this time I was just considered a visitor for custom purpose. I have a car (not manufactured in North American) which I owned the title 2 years before I landed in Canada. If I want to bring it to Canada, do I need to pay the duty and/or tax?
