I am a student and I have finished my study, its full-time postsecondary training. The problem is I have applied for my spouse work there are two months and I have found a job of my profession(machinist, cnc machine operator) but I cannot do it... So, under this situation what can I do? just wait for the permit?
I am really confused about Mr. Trudeau said: spouses dont have to wait two years and they will have their PR immediately? what does that mean? That means after the decision is done we can have the PR right now? That doesnt make any differences!

Speculation is that Mr. Trudeau may not fully understand what Condition 51 means.

When `they' say that they will grant immediate PR to spouses or partners, it likely means that they will abolish Condition 51...which does NOT grant immediate PR. Every person gets their PR at the time of landing, but those with Condition 51 have a 2 year condition, that simply requires them to continue living with their sponsor.

Now...granting immediate PR at the time that CIC accepts the PR sponsorship application for all applicants...would be a much more appealing idea.

yes, I think so, he is not that good about the immigration laws and rules. But he did metion that the budget is gonna be doubled just for dealing with the family cases, so the processing time for inland will ruduce therefore? I have also applied for my spouse open work permit, its been 2 months since they have received my materials, so do you know how long will it take? Thanks a lot for answering me.
