Questions about renewing the passport

Hi There,
I have my citizenship interview recently. I renewed my passport back in February 2019 as I was appearing in an exam which only required passport as an acceptable ID.My old passport was expired back in 2016 and applied with the expired passport. My question is do I need to take this new passport for the interview? It is just blank. I never travelled since I came. I appreciate any reply.

Yup, Take it, it won't hurt, and also they might still want to see it for themselves to see that you haven't traveled.

yes! expired ones are technically invalid especially if you have a new one, the old one they might need if all your travel stamps and visas are in there
