I am the spouse and authorized representative of a temporary foreign worker who is applying Permanent Residence under the Live In Caregiver program and an Open Work Permit. I am almost ready to submit the applications, but just have a few questions:
Do we need to include the Common-Law proof with PR Application since I'm not sponsoring her or her family?
Do we need to provide the Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union [IMM 5409] for OWP if I'm not sponsoring her or her family?
Do we need to provide duplicate paperwork when applying for R and OWP at the same time? For example, both request copies of Passports, etc.
Do PR and OWP get sent in same envelope or simply at the same time but in separate envelopes?
Your feedback is much appreciated. I can't seem to get through on the phone line to CIC directly.
