Hello, hope you all are doing well.
I'm writing to ask if being married to a Canadian will have any impact on my approval for a working holiday visa. We were originally planning to go for PR, but wanted to wait a while since I wanted to remain at my job. Unfortunately, my husband was diagnosed with cancer, and I immediately wanted to be with him. I had already done an IEC through a recognized organization (That's when we got married). We're getting things together to start the PR process, but I want to be able to work in Canada and be with him while that processes.
I already got my ITA and I'm about to submit my application, but I'm wondering if there's anything I should be aware of before I submit. I'm going to be flying up to be there as a visitor, and I plan to flagpole once I get the approval. Anything I should think of that the border officer might try to bring up?
Thanks!
