Questions about financial sponsorship in applying for canadian student visa

hi there, Im from Philippines and planning to apply for canadian student visa. Im having a My bother and I had a joint account we have enough money for “show money” but my problem is my parents are the one who’s funding it and they are illegally working at the United States. They have a payslip, proof of employment and also paying taxes. The agency that is helping me told me that i need to support my bank statement with a proof of remittance ONLY?(but im not sure if its true?) and they didn’t know about my parents being illegally working at the United States. what do you think are the documents that i needed?
I need to know if its fine with canada? If the CIC will dig in to it? Do they have connections with the uscis?
