Question regarding withdrawing OIPNP application

Hello,

I just sent out my application for OIPNP and am waiting on AOR (Application reached today via UPS). My questions are :

1. If I get an ITA in the next few draws, will I be able to withdraw my application for OIPNP and get my fees back?

2. I am still waiting on a few documents before I will be ready to accept and submit PR application, so how many times can I decline the ITA if I receive one?

you can get money back if they dont generate file number. otherwise they will not return that fee.

i didnt get your 2nd que. they will give you 60 days to submit docs after ITA. if you cannot do it then it will be automatically cancelled.

I was under the impression that you can decline an ITA without having your profile deemed ineligible/removed. So, if I cannot get my docs together within the 60 day period, I can decline the ITA and my profile will go back into the EE pool. My question is how many times can I do that?

it will be declined automatically. so multiple times. but my question to you will be if you are not ready with your docs and you think it will take 3-4 months then better to make your profile later like 1 month before you are ready. as this will give better chance to others who are waiting for ITA rather than declining ITA multiple times and wasting 1 ITA.

Hmm... You make a good point. I have already started my application process, sent out my OIPNP application and waiting for AOR. I am currently in the US but will be moving back to India in a month and continuing my application process from there. I am just waiting on my US PCC for which I gave my Indian mailing address. I have most of the other documents ready, since I already sent out the OIPNP packet.

Thanks for your response. I dont know if the cutoff will drop enough for me to get an ITA (score 456), but I will be trying my best to submit the application and not waste it. My concern was for a situation which could be out of my hands.

Hi,

as per my experience, 456 is a good score but CRS drops very less times till this score. so whenever you get ITA please grab that opportunity as it is very hard to get it again unless you secure 600 points throup OOPNP then getting ITA will be piece of cake for you.

gather all the docs and wait for FBI PCC as it takes time as all know. and if you receive ITA then do it anyhow even on the 60th day.
