My passport is getting expired on May-2016. So i am planning to renew my passport now & then land in the month of Aug-2015?

Could you please suggest, if it is fine with new Passport?

If you are expecting PPR soon then don't renew your passport now. If you still have time for PPR then get it renewed and once you get the new passport send a copy of that via email informing CIC of the change. You can then send your new passport once you get PPR.

You can renew your passport. The only thing you have to do is carry both the passports when you travel.
