Question regarding the form. Does it have to be completed on a pc or can you write everything on it by hand?
Also, if my wife is coming from India to Canada, under country of origin it would be INDIA and country of export would be CANADA correct?
Lastly, what is the real benefit of completing this form? Can you still enter without having it completed?

thanks in advance

it can be filled out by hand, no problem with that. just make sure it's legible.

the country of EXPORT is India - that is where her belongings are being exported from. so it would India for both origin and export, i would think.

the benefit of completing the form is it exempts the person from having to pay duty on their items when entering canada. if you attempt to import a large amount of items, then more than likely you would be required to pay duty in order for them to enter canada. If you only have a small amount of personal items you are coming with, it is not necessary to fill out a form. If you have a bunch of household goods, a car and/or personal items, then you want to declare it to avoid getting taxed when entering.
