Question regarding background declaration form

Hi Folks,

can some one please assist me with this ? The form asks for the details of my personal history since I was 18 or the last 10 years which ever is earlier.

I was working and studying at the same time . for eg

march 2007 to december 2010 - working for one company
Jan 2007 to october 2009 - studying

How do I include these details ? Should I mention everything even if the dates overlap ? Or is it just the employment history that CIC is interested in ?

Also, half of the time I was on a student visa and then became a permanent resident. How do I include this ? eg - Jan 2007 to dec 2009 - student visa and then Jan 2010 onwards permanent resident. How do I include this ?

I am stuck with this form and its confusing me a lot. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

To the best of my understanding you could state as thus:


January,2007-March,2007 Studying Name the institution

March,2007 -Oct;2009 Studying and Working as "your job title" Name the institution and the company"s name

October,2009- December,2010 Working as "your job title" Name of the company
