Hi

I'm going for medical test on 24th. In a general health checkup done two weeks earlier, I had SGPT of 67. The normal ranges are mentioned as 35-65 in one report and 30-72 in another report that I had taken earlier. Has anyone who's done medicals please let me know if SGPT is tested in Canada tests?

I reckon this has something to do with liver functions? Cic mostly is keen to look out for communicabe diseases and something that will cost them to treat.

They take blood test, urnine test, chest xray, eye sight, height/weight, blood pressure.

As in your case, i cannot say for 100% as i am no doctor but i hope its not a issue. Good luck and god bless.

Agreed.

My doctor told me that CIC has a list of illnesses like tuberculosis and other infectious or chronic illnesses that they flag and look out for in medical tests.

I would say that a slightly elevated result in your blood test shouldnt be an issue.

Wish you all the best.
