Question on Heath insurance & Divorce.

We are about to land in Toronto-Canada pretty soon and my spouse is the primary applicant. 

I would also like to know how long does it take for the health insurance coverage to be in effect after landing in Canada?

The reason why I ask the health insurance question is because some people say that it will take effect as soon as you land, and some other people say that it can take up 90 days.

Once you land as a PR, you are a PR. Your wife can not cancel your PR-ness. For health insurance, just get a travel insurance to cover you for emergencies.
