Question on changing the Tech NOC
I came to Canada on a LMIA exempt ICT work permit for a global tech company. The company initially filed my work permit in Canada for the NOC 2171 IN 2019, BUT coming to Canada, my roles and responsibilities changed within our business unit, and my current role fits aptly with the NOC 2173...So can I put the primary NOC of 2173 for my EE profile now, although my company filed my initial work permit using 2171? I can very well provide a detailed reference letter on my job roles and responsibilities for the updated NOC code. Just want to get the expert opinion on this.
