Question filling up document: Your Travels

So Im just about done filling my application but I am stuck with this final document, Your travels.

It says lists all trips taken outside country of origin or of residence.

My country of origin is Philippines, but I lived in Japan as a family dependant.

So when filling this document, Im assuming I can omit my travels to Japan since it would be considered as my place of residence?

So far I have only filled in my trips to toronto to study and then my trips to back to work under the PGWP.

Is this right? Or will they expect I fill up my residence in japan as a trip...but my purpose of travel would be "visiting home"

Any help please!

Did you not get a certificate of registration when you got registered with the CNO? Once I passed the board exam, paid the general class fee and gave them a copy of my PGWP I got issued a "certificate of registration" with my registration number. Im just sending that. I dont think they need the receipt :s

I recall reading another post where you said you moved to Japan when you were 2. Assuming you are in Canada now, you would include trips taken within the last 10 yrs or since your 18th birthday(if longer than 10 yrs) from:
Canada to Japan
Canada to Phillipines
Canada to any other country
Japan to Canada
Japan to Phillipines

GOOD IDEA. I GOT CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION TOO BUT I THOUGHT THEY NEED OFFICIAL LICENSE. I WILL CALL CNO AND VERIFY IF THEY WILL MAIL OFFICIAL LICENSE TO ME.. THANKS OFVGARD AND ALL THE BEST WITH UR APPLIKCATION.

Thanks ujbaby, good luck with yours too. I have no idea if there is any other lisence other than that certificate of registration

Yes you are right, that was me indeed. I havent been to the Phils since I was 10 or something so I wont need to put that...

Gah this is alotta work since I went home to Japan every summer vacation and Christmas as a student. What should I put? "Visiting home"?

And I suppose I have to count the days too :S

"Visiting home" or "visiting family" is fine. Only the month and year is needed - look at the stamps in your passport and do your best to provide the information or best estimate. You can also request your travel record from CBSA.

Many Thanks. I did look at my passport and checked my departures and re-entries to japan...just extra trouble of making a table on word since I traveled back n forth over the years....C'mon, i get homesick

Hi ofvgard, How's ur application going????? have u received AOR, can u share ur reference letter pls????? i suppose to send my application this week but noticed that one of my employer made mistake on my employment letter. She wrote that i started working since July 2011 instead of Decemeber 2010.so i need to wait for her to correct the error befor i send in my application
