Dear everyone:
My wife already received her family sponsorship immigration letter and VISA, but, there is a letter "important information concerning changes in marital status or the addition of dependent children" mailing with her passport.
On last Question: what must you do if a dependent child has been added to your family.
Answer said: "I must return my immigration visa to CIC office, with a notarised photocopy of my child's birth certificate, adoption certificate, or change of custody document, and I must take appropriate steps in either a)or b) choice.
a) if your children not applying for immigration visa, don't pay application fee however, my child will be required to undergo a medical examination. upon successful completion of the medical exam, a new visa will be issued to me.
b) if your child is to accompany you to Canada, I must pay fee, in this case of an adopted child I may be required to attend a secondary interview which could cause significant delay in my application
During my last email to CIC, I already mentioned my child get birth before my wife get her PR. At that time, our decision is let child's grandparents to take care, and did not put child's name on application form. but right now I change my mind. I want add my children to the Immigration List right now.
Question: Do I need to return my spouse Immigration Letter and Passport (with Visa) to CIC Canada in case of my child get birth.
Question: Can I just let my wife get land to Canada and apply my child as a new case?
thanks
