Hi I received the CPCO Final request email on new years eve of all days :) , I'm the applicant and my wife is the sponsor who is a Canadian Citizen living in the UK with myself currently,

I'm a United Kingdom GBR passport holder, I've checked to see if I need to send the Physical passport off using the link provided which stated i only need an ETA for tourism, etc.

So I believe I only need to send 2 Professional Photos to London VAC and upload the email and the copy of my passport using the online portal (as I have an online account)

However I'm unsure if I need to send photo's of my Wife the sponsor as well as it say accompanying family member, which doesn't make sense as she has a Canadian passport? I'm probably getting myself all confused but just wanted to make sure they aren't required and it is just for those that have children etc?.

Hopefully someone can help.

Joe

Yes, it does not apply to your wife - only to those with other dependents or whose spouses are becoming PRs as well. (The passport request letter is basically the same for those who are applying under economic streams etc too)

So only those who are immigrating in the same application.

Awesome!, thanks armoured for the quick response, we thought this was the case but just wanted to make sure, I'm assuming this is also the case for the Passports too, i.e. it only needs to be a copy of mine sent electronically on the portal.
Also do you know what the next part of the process will be, i.e. do i receive a PR card through the post or an email indicating that we are clear to travel and complete the COPR.

Thanks again,

Joe

Yes, same for passport.

You'll get copr (don't know whether by email or post) and then you travel to Canada (which might be challenging now, pay attention to the quarantine plan stuff, need to register on the arrival app, new covid test requirement, etc).

When you arrive you go through landing procedure and PR card comes some time after that.

Thanks again :) I'll look into the quarantine stuff as I'd seen that we need to have a plan of action written out as to where we are staying in isolation etc. We aren't planning on leaving till March as we have to give notice's to our work so hopefully the situation gets easier (doubtful but fingers crossed).

thanks
Joe
