Question about Valid Job Offer Express Entry

Hi,

I read that according to the new rule, you get points for a valid job offer. I am currently working in NOC B level job and it will be One year in July. I am planning to create express entry profile in July. I need to understand if I get those 50 points for having a job already!! Also let me know if I need to provide LMIA?

Need to clear my confusion here!!

Hi,

Thank for replying. I have a Post Graduation Work Permit. Valid till June 2019.

Then do you not have a valid job offer.

You can only have a valid job offer with a LMIA exempt work permit which is employer specific (closed work permit) or with LMIA.

PGWP is an open work permit so you won't qualify for those 50 points even after working for that employer for a year.
