Question about processing spousal PR cases

My friends, I have another question! Seeing that December is coming up, and many workers will probably be taking time off again, does anyone know if visa offices, in particular the visa office in London, will continue to process cases in December?

I think it's safe to expect one to two weeks of vacation for Christmas and newyear's eve.

I would imagine some people would go on vacation, but some would remain. So I'm sure they will continue working on cases, but the processing might slow down a bit. Depends on how many visa officers they have working on such apps - if it's just one and they go on vacation... oh well.

you can check on your visa office internet site what holidays they have and for how long, it's usually 3 days for Christmas, but this year I guess it will be 4, as week-end will add a day.
most of vacations are usually taken in summer. for Christmas people usually take 2 weeks up to a New Year time.
also in the visa offices they always have no less than 2 officers plus 2 secretaries and never all of them are allowed to be on vacation at the same time.
