I received a nomination from SINP under NOC code 21230 (Computer Systems Developers and Programmers). I currently have an active Express Entry profile where I updated the NOC to 21230 before receiving the nomination.
However, before this update, I had listed NOC 21232 (Software Developers and Programmers) in my older, now expired Express Entry profiles, as my job duties seemed to align more with that code. My employer advised that I should be using 21230, which I’ve now done in my current and valid profile.
My question is:
Will the presence of the 21232 NOC in my expired Express Entry profiles cause any issues during the federal application process
Has anyone had a similar experience, or any insights on how IRCC views such changes in NOC codes over time, especially when they are in expired profiles?
