Question about landing at border office

Hi guys,
Actually I'm living in Canada.
I'm checking the border office for landing on website 'http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/'
well, my silly question, is it necessary to pick a border office which provides 'immigration service'?

also what other documents will i need to take with me other than passport and copr? will i need a US visa?

Yes.. You must go to a border office which offers immigration services..

No US visa is needed. The procedure is called "flagpole" and is well known to officers
