Hello,
I am very thankful for this forum! I am a dual citizen of Canada by birth and US by naturalization who is married to a US citizen. I have been living in the US for 15 years, been married for 13 years and we have 4 children who were all born in the US and who are also dual citizens. I have recently applied for proof of Canadian citizenship cards for my children. We are planning to move back to Canada soon (well I am moving back, my husband and children have never lived there) and I am working on the forms to sponsor my husband from outland (Buffalo) before we go.
My question is about the "Application to Sponsor and Undertaking", in section C, do I list our children? I am not sponsoring my children because they are already Canadian citizens but do I have to list them there because they are also my husband's children and he is the person being sponsored? I am very confused.
I really hope we are not going to have any problems having my husband come to Canada with us under visitor status as he is the one who is staying home to take care of this kids while I work, at least until he is authorized to work in Canada.
