Hello everyone, I am having a question about bringing goods to Canada when you land as a PR.
I just recently got my PPR and are awaiting my COPR to move to Canada. So I just learned that when you move the first time you will have to declare all your goods with you on this Form called BSF186.
My question now is should I do that beforehand and then just show it to the immigration officer at the airport. I assume so.
The other thing is my wife and her family will visit me in my home country this month before I am actually moving over to Canada. So they told me they would travel light so that they could already bring over a good amount of our stuff like kitchen items and so. Is that actually okay or should I wait and carry over everything by myself?
Thanks for your help.
