3. How many family members, including you, are in this application?

On the guide it says :
Question 3
Indicate the total number of family members included in your application. This includes yourself and any family members, regardless of whether they intend to accompany you to Canada or not.


Sooooooo in this application, we mentioned that he has 8 brothers and sisters plus his mom.... but they will NOT be coming to canada... but we just had to mention them in the application because they asked about each of his family members.... so for this question, does he answer 1? or does he answer 1 + all his family members? So confusing...

Family members, when it comes to "those included in this application, even if they will not be accompanying you to Canada" means children. Not parents, not siblings. Just dependent children who are not already Canadian citizens/PR.

So, if you're sponsoring your spouse and he has no children coming along with him, the answer is 1.
