Hi All,

I am filling application and for Question 11 I am not sure how to type my history.

I landed as a PR in Canada 2018/01/29
I started to work a few days later 2018/02/05

Since Form in Question 11 does not display days but only Year and Month, my entry would look like this

2018/02 - PRESENT - Current Job in Canada
2017/05 - 2018/01 - Previous Job in Poland

Is this considered a gap? (Since 2018/01 does not overlap with 2018/02?)

Should I add a separate entry that from 2018/01 to 2018/02 I was unemployed even if it lasted only 6 days?

If I should add a separate entry how to type it? Employer name "Unemployed" obviously but what to type in address, City? N/A in both? Or it should be my home address in Canada?

Thank you

Well, everyone will have different perception on this. But I think this is not a gap. See, If you left your previous job on 31st January and started next on Feb 01. It is not a gap right. But in application you will still see only 18/01 and 18/02. No date, only month and year.

Thank you for your answer. One more question regarding Question 11. It asks for employer address, separately City and separately Country. I understand that I don't have to provide postal code?

Did any of you provide postal codes in question 11?

Its your choice if you want to write postal code but your application wont be rejected if postal code for address wont be there.
