My mother is visiting me on a multiple entry visitor visa from India which is valid until 2020.
She came on 19th Oct 2017 and was not stamped for exit date when entering canada. This automatically implies that she can stay in canada for 6 months from the day of entry.
During this time, she has gone to US for trip for 4 days when she was out of canada and came back again last week.
My question fellows is that does this reset the entry date back again to day 1 and would be considered or allowed to stay a maximum of 180 days from her entry into Canada from US, starting last week.
Please assist as I would extend her tickets accordingly for travelling back to India.
If anyone has encountered this kind of situation please help.
