query regarding new Immigration changes

I am living in Canada for almost 4 years. I came here as an international student and after my graduation I got open work permit for 3 years and working in a IT company in Toronto. I have applied my immigration in September 2008 using regular method. now i am little worried Is my file gona process under new process or it will be processed under old process.
One more thing Will I get points for arranged employment as I am working in Canada having valid work permit and company wants me to work for them in future as well.

You will go under new process but since you are already in Canada for over a year, you still qualify.

You will get points for arranged employment if your work permit still had 12 months or more left on it when you applied or you got a letter from employer stating that they would keep you around. You can find this info at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/EG7.pdf page 15.

If they refuse your application for whatever reason, you can apply under CEC.
