You don't need to fill the IMM 5444E when landing at POE. The Boarder Service Officer who will interview briefly will do the necessary work for PR Card when you hand over your passport and COPR to him.

IMM5444 is later required when:
  • a renewal of a PR Card that has or will soon expire or
  • a replacement of a PR Card that has been lost, stolen or damaged

Yes. I am telling about (5) - IMM5444E.
You can give that form unfilled to the BSO while landing or just keep it with you.
The officer will do it accordingly in their on line screen regarding your landing information.

Wilson & CB r opining correctly... if u read that thread some more - in a couple of posts later I had amended that line reg. IMM5444... it's no more required... the BSO@POE'd do the needful, online, automatically, while performing ur record of landing.

Thanks Qorax for clearing the doubt of manunidhi.
In fact his question raised by the member is genuine because the visa offices are sending the 5444E forms to every one with PPR.

Hi Quorax,

many thanks for your prompt reply. Life is really circle. was following u r advise all this days and before landing got u r reply may be destiny.

last question do i need to bring my original marriage certificate and education qualification etc which i mentioned during my application with me while landing ? do they ask those documents ?

i am asking as i am going there only for 2 weeks and don't wont to loose them on vacation ?

Also i am planning to ask my relative to courier me a PR card in my address in UK. is that okay ?

please advise.

Hi,

1. Not required.
2. Not Ok/advisable... but many do so, successfully.
