Hi, I have received my ITA under Express entry and i'm in the process of gathering the documents.
I have got my masters degree assessed by WES and my masters degree was during the dec 2011 - jan 2015.
I am employed from mar 2011 to present.

My query is: I have done my masters degree which is a full time degree while working. Will that be a problem?

How did you do that? full time job and education together?

I explained my situation to my PG coordinator in our college and he accepted to allow me only for examinations and project seminars. Thats how I could work as well and do my masters simultaneously.

Will the same doubt arise to my visa officer? If so how to explain it and convince him/her?

Whatever you did, if your job was full time (30+ hours per week), then while filling EE application, mention your education as part time.

Trust me, you will not loose any points, there will not be any rejection and part time is acceptable.

I got PR with my Masters as part time. Hope this helps.

ok, thanq.

And one more query, my name in my passport is with my full surname whereas in my education transcripts my surname is just written as "S" instead of full surname. Due to which, in my ECA this line "The names on one or more of the academic credentials submitted for evaluation differ from the name indicated above" was mentioned. Will there be any issue with that?

One more query:

My bachelors was completed in May-2009. I started working from March 2011. I have mentioned the date "applicant name" first became qualified to practice in this occupation as May- 2009 but my Bachelors degree wasn't assessed in ECA. Will this be a problem as I started working after a acquiring a degree which wasn't assessed in ECA?

This is not a problem. Do you have ECA now for your Bachelors? If yes, qualified date is May 2009

No, not having ECA for my bachelors. Got ECA only for masters.
This is also fine. Since you have Masters as highest education.

So, is the work experience counted even if the degree is not assessed ? BTW, my occupation is Mechanical Engineer.
If your Bachelors education was in Mechanical, you are good then.
