Query on returning to Canada?

I become a Canadian PR in Dec 2006. I live in USA.

I'm planning to move to Canada this summer. I will be having a baby by then (US citizen) but the baby is not born yet. How easy is it to sponser a PR application for the baby after I move to Canada? Do I have to show the proof of funds then? Recently we invested in real estate in our home country INdia and we emptied all our savings account. So what ever proof of funds we have showed to Canadian authorities during landing has evaporated.Is this a problem when we move to Canada?

Tinag - I am in the same boat...we have become a PR last July and in Dec we had a baby in the US and she is a US citizen...now can we take her with us to Canada as she does not need a visa and then apply for her PR...at the POE do we need to show again the proof of funds.....i have already shown the finds at the time of landing last July.

Kindly help from your experience....
