Hi Experts,

I need to know the following things regarding the Canadian VISIT VISA:

1. How much time is given to sent the passports for Visa stamping to VFS ( 30 or 60 months ) by CIC ?

2. Can we send the passports to VFS Global office other than the country , from where applied ? Like from the country of citizenship ? But applied from the country of residency which was other than country of citizenship ?

Months? Not that long.. Maybe a couple of days. Your question is really broad.
Case to case basis as it depends from where you applied (which country) and how (by paper or online).
In some countries, if you applied by paper they collect the Biometrics and Passport right away (regardless if your visa is refused or not).
Example in Pakistan (new process), they would only request the passport when needed. This takes much time if you apply in Lahore since they need to send the passports to Islamabad and send back to Lahore.

2. Can we send the passports to VFS Global office other than the country , from where applied ? Like from the country of citizenship ? But applied from the country of residency which was other than country of citizenship ?

Yes. You need to inform IRCC that you'll have the stamping from another country if you cannot original go the VFS where you submitted your Biometrics.
