I am a PR living in Canada. My wife is in India. She does not have a visitor visa for Canada. I want to apply for her sponsorship to get a permanent residency.
My queries in Generic Application Form [IMM0008] are:
Application Details:
1)Program under which you are applying? It gives the following options:
-Family…….Am I correct in choosing this option?
-Economic
-Refugee
-Other
2)Category under which you are applying? It gives the following options:
-Spouse……….Am I correct in choosing this option?
-Common-law partner
-Conjugal partner
-Dependent child/adopted child
-Child to be adopted in Canada
-Parents/grandparents
-Orphaned sibling/nephew/niece/grandchild
-Other relative
Educational/Occupational Details
The break up of her study in India is:
Lower Kinder Garten + Upper Kinder Garten……………………….2 years (is this considered )
Grade 1- 12th …………………………………………………………..12 years
Graduation…………………………………………….3 years
Post-Graduation…… was a correspondence diploma which she did in 2 years (is it considered ?)
3)No. of years of education in total : what should be the number of years?
Does my wife need to have done IELTS and WES accreditation of her education?
Personal Details
Does my wife need to fill this “Personal Details” column with the details of her parents, sisters? They are settled in Canada and not going to accompany her.
