Hello! My wife and I have been trying to gather up some information on how to help me emigrate to Canada so I can finally live with her.
I am an American Citizen and she, from Quebec . BUT she is currently residing in Ontario for school.
Our plan is to ultimately live in Montreal (or somewhere close to that) but she is going to be in school in Ontario for another year or so.
My question is, after we apply for her to sponsor me (currently trying to do so), do we have to apply for immigration via Ontario since that is where she is currently residing?
Or can we apply via Quebec, since she is from Quebec and Quebec is where we want to live in the end?
