I applied for PR through PEQ program in June 2017 from Montreal. I was wondering if my application process has taken time more than usual. It's been a year and I haven't got my PR yet and PEQ is considered an accelerated program. Anyone with the same case plz share your experience

I received my A OR on 7th of February 2018 when should I expect the next step
Also please let me know we are going to do the medical check once or twice as I heard about remedical

PEQ and QSW program's processing time is the same, It is 16 months. Your case is in 16 months, It is normal.

Got my request for passport today!

"The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, permanent residence visa. If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform usimmediately by email to: CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca with details concerning your situation."

TIMELINE:
Quebec inland application peq program
March 20th 2017 submitted pr application
May 29th 2017 got AOR
December 19th 2017 got mmr
January 12th 2018 did medical
February 8th 2018 request for rfpr fee
February 15th 2018 paid rfpr fee
March 21st 2018 recieved pre-arrival message
June 23rd 2018 request for passport

Then why is PEQ called accelerated program??

PEQ is accelerated program? I don't think so! Last year many PEQ applicants were stuck because of the French language.
Once you get CSQ from Quebec Immigration and submit your application to CIC, It is nothing to do with Quebec Immigration. GOOD LUCK
