Hi, I would like to know if the border officer needs proof of funding during the landing process? and what is the amount?

I was inland applicant but would do my landing by a travel from Europe. I am currently in Europe. I appreciate your prompt response and advise.

(FYI: I already have posted my timeline in this forum; it was submitted to Ottawa in Feb 2016 and accepted in February 2017.)

Thanks in advance.

Its depends case to case. If you have a job in quebec. You need to show them employment letter. They just want to know that you will have some sort of money/income. If you do not have a job you need to show between 7k to 10k CAD PER Person

I submitted my application in June 2014, I was in a hurry that time to submit my application before a possible change of guidelines.

I'm a registered nurse in the Philippines. I graduated in October 2007 but I started working in February 2011 as a nurse.

Here's the problem. Between October 2007 to January 2011, I spent the 4 years having multiple jobs because life as a nurse is difficult here in the Philippines.

I have had 2 permanent jobs, 3 part time and several contract basis jobs. At any given month, I worked at least 1 permanent and 2 part time alternating every week. (usually as secretary to a company, ghost writer for several publications, tutor and caregiver)

When I submitted my application in 2014, I used my main work that I started in Feb 2011 as a government nurse. For time period before that, I believe I chose 1 permanent job for the period 2007 to January 2011.

The problem now is I forgot what it was. Due to my rush in filing my papers, I completely forgot to make a copy.

The federal stage asks for the same info again on what I have done the past years and I'm afraid of writing conflicting information.

My questions are as follows:

1. Is it okay for me to ignore writing my whereabouts prior to Feb 2011 and stick with my current employment?
2. How do I got about asking for a copy of my submitted application from the Quebec immigration?
3. Do I ask info from my visa center instead (I saw it was Hongkong)?

I really hope anyone can help me. Thank you!

Hello...this question is for those who already have COPR...

I have the following section on my COPR (its immediately under the APPLICATION DETAILS section):

===============================
Conditions:

00: NONE
Charged/convicted of a crime or offense in any country, refused admission to Canada or required to leave Canada?

===============================

What does this section mean? Did anyone else have this section on their COPR? The statement is a question in the section but not sure what its supposed to imply!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

In my opinion conflicting information can cause a delay or interview, Try to see if you have a draft stored on your computer. I can't imagine that you wrote everything by hand, see if you had a copy stored on your computer that you can print and use as a template. Each change you made, you should've informed them. Notwithstanding this is the issue you face now, check emails that you may have sent with your application or stored files, if you used a representative ask them instead. Asking the Canadian immigration for your file or to assist you with your history sounds strange and can make them question you to supply more causing delay. Find a work around.
