I hope to receive PPR this week.

What's the best method to send the passport. Any tips saw people having trouble with tracking.
Congrats Saj123.. I think Finishing line for Feb 2016 applicants is near. I always used xpresspost envelope (1 inside another for passport return) for all immigration related documents. I never any issue with it.

Thanks to Macarad and Missionquebec for your answers.

Congrats to Saj123 on "Decision made"

Macarad I'm not a Mexican citizen, but I know someone from my country who is living in another country and she already has the "we start processing your application" notice, and she received AOR after me.

Regarding this: "I do not know if maybe the revisions may take longer for citizens from other countries (for example, background checks, etc.)..." that is something I would like to know, because for me, the "start processing" thing, occurs when the application arrives to the VO traveling from Nova Scotia.

I see that your AOR and mine have similar times, do you have the "we start processing your application" notice in ECAS?
Yes, we have similar AOR. And, yes, I am a mexican citizen, but I am an inland applicant (VO Ottawa), so our timelines are not necessarily equivalent =/ (I got an email confirming processing had begun one day after AOR) ... I wish I could give you more info. I do find it strange that Mexico City VO has taken so long, but I do not know what could be the problem. Nevertheless, you are still within the official "timeframe" which is around a year for the federal stage. I want to think you will get some news soon!

Please update us as things develop.

Best of luck!

Hi guys!

Med requests came in today (2 1/2 months after AOR).

I have couple of questions, hopefully some of you can help me.

I read on the email for the med request that I should bring medical reports for any relevant health problem(s)...

This is kind of vague... we have all been to the doctor before... what qualifies as a health problem relevant to your exam? Any ideas? Also, all of my documents are back home .... in spanish. I have never heard of people translating medical records... any idea how it would work? Should I have someone from back home try to send the documents to Canada (i am an inland applicant)? Basically i had 2 surgeries, one due to my appendicitis and i had a non malignant tumor removed... any guesses on how relevant this might be?

Thanks in advance!

It is more about ongoing / long term medical cases. A case which you had for some time and still have now.

These don't qualify as ongoing health problems and you should be fine. If you have visible signs of stitches/Scar the doctor might ask you during the physical exam. Just tell Him/her about the surgery you had.

Hi there Bajan...

I read about your timeline... and I am sailing in the same boat.
I already received the CSQ last year in June 2016. It took me a longer time to send the documents to Nova Scotia.
I sent the docs In October 2016 and it reached on 17 Oct 2016. Since then till now I have not yet received any email from there.
After reading your time line I see that it took around 4 months for you to get a reply from Federal.
Is this correct.

Thankyou,

Asif
