Hi, I have a question. This is a little bit urgent.

I just paid the RPRF fee.

In CIC email they said :

Once the payment process is complete, the web site will display your official receipt in PDF format.
You must send the receipt to CIO-Sydney. For fastest service, please attach it to an email and submit
it via the Case Specific Enquiry (secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx) form.

I am not sure which Option do I need to select under "Type of application/enquiry"? I am an QSW inside Canada applicant.

I need a quick answer.

Thanks

that's great sharing. thank you!
I indeed did flagpole thing for my PGWP. (At that time -- end of November 2015, CIC took insanely long time for PGWP or any kind of extension of temporary residency visa -- 5 months if i remember correctly). the int'l student advisor@ my uni indeed suggested that I apply online. But I went for what they considered to be a courageous move: flagpole (my study permit was to expire on Nov 30, i didn't want to stay in Canada under implied status).
What I want to share here is: I did not get the entry rejection letter from the US customs. I told them I was going for a day trip in Plattsburgh (and yes that's what I actually did, but the main purpose of that trip was the flag poling at the end).
The officers (@Lacolle) were v nice. It was not long for me to get that visa -- I hope flagpoling for PR is similar.
I then shared this experience with my uni's int'l student office. I hope they would let other int'l students know of such option: it's not that adventurous at all and a lot quicker.
Hi Smearingo,
I did flag-poling for my pgwp on last January '16 as well. it was the same experience for me and took only 20min for me in the Canadian side. My uni (Concordia) int'l advisor did suggest me not to go, but I didnt want to wait for 3-4months. Anyway, the reason why you didnt get the entry rejection letter is, you entered usa. pgwp and pr, in both cases, I didnt enter usa, just took the u-turn from the usa side to come to the canadian border gate, both cases I got the entry rejection letter.

Thanks.

Hi MR21,
exactly. the main difference between your case and mine is that I entered the States, while you didn't. Of course both ways work, and there is no harm in getting the entry rejection letter. Indeed, when I researched about it some time ago, I was fully aware that it is indeed safer to get the rejection letter, so that Canada will be obliged to let you enter (that is, not to refuse you entry by any reason). And that rejection letter from the US is just an administrative thing, no effect to future entries or visa application.
But I think this time for PR (after I get the CoPR), I will as well enter the US for a day trip, Burlingtion VT probably (I am planning)... I usually don't go down to the border, if I do, I want to travel south a bit more...

but, btw: did you get your PGWP in Jan 2016? (or 2015?) if it is Jan 2016 as you said, then, you actually sent your application for the federal stage before you get the PGWP?

I don't want to sound nosy... I hope you don't mind if I ask the following questions.....
may I ask if you get CSQ during the time you were a student? (in that case then you did not apply via PEQ-étudiant?)

not recommended .... because this might affect the time duration you have for visa expiry...which means , visa is valid for one year after medical so the late you do medical the better chance you have for landing times
