i sent the police certificates from the beginning... they did not start any procedure just checked it and sent it back....

can you tell me what was the problem your friend had?? did he get his whole package back??

For my friend, they sent a paper demanding additional docs even though they were included (she had the scan of what she sent , but there's no point of proving they overlook them)
I think in your case you will have to send a new application
