Does anyone know the date format in GCMS notes? Our "APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT: Due Date" says 11/12/2016 and I am not sure if that means today or December 11, depending on the date format they use.

Does anyone know the date format in GCMS notes? Our "APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT: Due Date" says 11/12/2016 and I am not sure if that means today or December 11, depending on the date format they use.

Mine shows: 2016/11/01 which indicates 1 November. By the way my ECAS status changed to Decision made 7 days ago. No CoPR so far.

Thanks for this, and congrats on the progress! It's really encouraging to see Weirdly enough they seem to be using different date formats for both of us. Hoping it means today in our case and that we can expect a decision made status over the next week! Let us know when you get PPR, hopefully very soon!

From what I've learnt, ECAS and CIC are a bit out of sync. Some forum members waited four weeks for their PPR or CoPR to come. Good luck to you all!

I have received medical request on 27th of Oct and I finished it on Nov 2. I didn't receive any phone call from the clinic so I bet there wasn't any problem.
Question: Status of my application is still ´In process' on cic website, how long does it normally take to get further request after the medical exam is finished? I've already paid 'the right of permanent residence fee' last month. Do you guys think there could be some possibility that I would receive my PR before March next year? My application arrived at Sydney NS on May 24th.

You can order GCMS notes to get more information on your status, but it looks like you just finished the last part and might indeed be able to get PR before then. Hoping it's fast for all of us!

They're just something you order from the government under the privacy act. It'll give you access to your full file as it currently exists at CIC, including notes left by officers working on your file. It essentially allows you to track progress on a micro-level instead of just getting a general picture through ecas http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp
