It is quite normal.
I have been waiting for PPR since more than 3 months. I applied from Montreal and the VO is ottawa.
I paid my RPRF on April 22, 2016.

my timeline is same as urs i applied on oct23 2015.

I have receive 2 e-mail on 27.07.2016 the first e-mail was request for medicals.
the second e-mail was for paying RPRF and sending some other documets: diploma, reference letter and 4 photos

I am quite surprised that they asked for diploma (!) and reference letter (!), and photos not in the stage of Passport Request?
Is it kind of expected for your case? (I will freak out if they suddenly asked me for similar things at this stage; and for QSW?)... I am awaiting Passport Request and believe no additional info should be requested for my application...

Guys, if anyone knows, is it normal for ecas to update with a line like the following for RPRF and Medical Request? We got those on July 11, but we're wondering if we possibly missed a request for additional docs. Is this message in ecas usually only reserved for additional docs or RPRF and Medical can also get this?

i need your help my question is Quebec Mon Project Related--i) I compete BBA with Marketing major... in AOT Marketing honors will get 12 points and Business Administration will get 6 points.. in my case what point i may get 6 or 12 ? ii) if 49 points cover without IELTS and French language can i apply in Mon Project??? No I am not worry because My VO is Roma and this is done for all applicants in this stage they ask again for additional documents like diploma reference letter etc.

but for photos I haven't any idea

If I were you, I would give them a call and ask if the medicals were received. Maybe call the clinic first to ask if they were sent.

November 2015 - Federal filed
February 2016 - AOR received
March 2016 - Medical Request
May 2016 - RPRF
July 2016 - Request for settlement plan (i have 60 days to submit these)

Yes, but it will be available from August 18 for the ones applied under the QSW category.
Allthough I think it will be pretty much the same information we see in ECAS.

According to the settlement plan. It's been almost two months since I submitted my reply and I haven't heard from CIC yet. Strange.
