Hi All,
I am nervous about my application.
I applied from Montreal.
File received in Sydney NS on Oct 16, 2015.
But, until now, no AOR letter received. Fee was not deducted yet. I used Mastercard to pay....
It has been already 4 months..

Should I write an email to Sydney or call them ?

Anyone has the same dealy with me ? I need your warm regards..

Just wait. If your application was not approved or something was missing they would have sent it back to you.

I am waiting for my passports to be returned with CORP , so i can do the landing either flag-poll at the border OR by appointment at the immigration office , I did not decide yet..

Hi,

I just received my CSQ, I'd applied in July 2013 from India and I'm still in India and in Mumbai. I have some queries, please help me out.

In this thread I see many writing about AOR (what is it?)
I've received CSQ for myself, spouse and Child - but the IMM0008 form says you have to include all members so you can sponsor them later. So how do I include my parents if I wish to apply for them.
To get the PCC it says, I should get it from the district local police station, but in some of the threads it is written that you can get it from RPO. How do I find out which one actually works.
What if I send something which is incomplete, will they reject the application or will they ask me to send the application again.
When do I need to send the passport along with the application?

Thanks,
Hi ! AOR stands for Acknowledgement of receipt of the federal application that you send. It will give you your file number. This normally takes a few months and will be communicated to you by the Central Intake office at Nova Scotia, Sydney.

Your parents will come under Additional family members and there is a separate form for this called ADDITIONAL FAMILY INFORMATION in the application package. Normally only immediate family members like spouse, children etc will be mentioned in the IMM008.

As for the PCC, get it from the RPO it is easier and hassle free. In case your Federal application for to Canada is incomplete it will be sent back to you and you will lose many months so better be very careful to fill up all details correctly. Your Original Passport will only be requested by them at the last stage when they are going to stamp the Visa and you should not send it without them specifically requesting for it.

Please read all the rules carefully before you fill up and send your forms.

Sorry for the late reply

Approximately, 5 days.
I will driving down to Lacolle Inspection Station near Vermont on Monday after seeing my lawyer in Downtown.
I am bringing with me, confirmation of permanent residence, CSQ/certificat de selection du quebec, bank statement, CPCO and document I will receiving from my lawyer.

I hope I am not forgetting anything.

Hi, I am new in this forum. I would just like to ask for your opinions please.
I just received my CSQ last December 2015 and I haven't submitted our Federal application yet. I am currently residing in UK but my place of birth is Manila, would it be better if we go home to Manila and apply from there or submit our application from here in the UK. Processing time here in UK is approx. 24 mos while in Manila is just 10 mos. Anybody who applied from UK that had their application approved in less than 24 mos. Really appreciate your comments and suggestions. Thanks a lot!

You can send your application from UK also but mention the manila address as permanent address in forms. From wherever you send the file, firstly it will go to Nova Scotia then they will assign your case according to your address.

Hi, what is CPCO?

Thanks for the detailed explanation. I have some more questions please,

With regard to the supporting documents, should I send school Education, Secondary School, University certificates (During the initial application - they had mentioned to get them from the University in sealed envelope) Is that how it should be sent now or just the copies certified as True Copy by Notary will work?
With regard to the Employment history what will be the document required (is it only for the last 10 years)?
Will Income tax papers be needed for anything?
Is there any proof of funds to be submitted now?

How long does it take for an application submitted from India, some places it says 39days and some places it says 16 months.

Thank you very much for taking time to reply.

Hey... I received PPR today
